Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Wheatsheaf Pub, Kitchen & Rooms, I appreciated the blend of value and comfort in this quaint establishment. Conveniently located in Bingham, just a mile from family visits, it offered a fantastic base for my trip. The welcoming staff provided attentive service, checking in daily to ensure we had everything we needed. One of the highlights was the breakfast setup; a ‘help yourself’ continental spread on the landing allowed for a leisurely start to our day. It was a treat being able to enjoy a hearty breakfast in our lovely room, thanks to the mini fridge for beverages. The room itself was calming and clean, featuring a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle for tea lovers. While the pricing is reasonable for what you receive, the daily rates do align with a homey yet slightly upscale experience. If you're after a pleasant stay where cleanliness meets convenience, Wheatsheaf is worth considering. Just know that you might find some quirks in accessibility, but overall, it’s a solid choice for tranquility after a busy day.
